How does GIA use AI in day-to-day business?

The terms Artificial Intelligence (AI), Large Language Models (LLM), and Machine Learning (ML) are sometimes interchangeable.

We do NOT upload any of your Personal Identifiable Information (PII) to AI tools.
We do NOT use AI responses directly for client advice, investment decisions or client communications.
We DO use AI tools to transcribe and summarize some meetings, both internal and with clients – all with applicable approvals and within compliance guidelines.
We DO use AI to create and clarify drafts of communication, and to do research on various topics relating to our business – but we fact-check, review with appropriate sources, and we review and rewrite text provided by the tools.
